February 1: It Takes a Village, with Valerie Weston
AI, remote jobs, online shopping and social media continue to isolate people from one another. In this environment we need to be mindful about our human need for one another. We’ll discuss ways to build and strengthen social connections, networks and a Village Mindset.
February 8: Growth Mindfulness: How Truth & Kindness Wins, with Cesar Cardona
In a world that often feels divided, join writer and musician Cesar Cardona as he explores the harmony of truth and kindness in Growth Mindfulness. Discover practical takeaways that empower you to remain calm and clear in order to communicate authentically and compassionately, bridging gaps and fostering genuine connection in today’s complex world. Cardona brings yet another uplifting message to the UUCVH pulpit.
February 15: Consciousness, with Andrew Grygus
Non-Theist Pagan Andrew Grygus gives another scholarly presentation, this time on the latest scientific and philosophical developments regarding consciousness, and how they relate to spirituality.
February 22: My Disney Story: Part 3 of 3, with Debbie Delmar
Always engaging and humorous, Debbie Delmar completes her series of inspiring stories with some of her wisdom about transitioning to retirement after an active career. In this concluding presentation, DelMar reflects on her 36-year career as an Imagineer and Disney executive, including her mid-career journey through law school, and shares insights from a lifetime of creating magic.
